Art Junction Bird Houses Party

These were a great success at all of our after school clubs.
The children thoroughly enjoyed everything about this project. They like the object – the birdhouse – the designing and finally painting and decorating the birdhouse. A lovely little garden item that can be put up in even a very small garden, then just wait for the birds to come visiting.

Using acrylic paints the children will decorate the birdhouses following their very own design sheet. Once the paint is dry the birdhouse can be put up outside, but if you prefer, coat with a layer of varnish first.
